You haven’t heard from me lately because finding wifi has been like trying to find hard liquor in a Utah grocery store.
So, I know you have missed me, admit it.
I have lots to regale you with from our epic road trip: long drives while solving a murder mystery, rooting out online reviews, drinking rum in the distillery where it was made, perceived near-death experiences (not connected to the gin, as far as I can ascertain), kayaking in (almost) gale-force winds—and that was all just in the first three days!
So, as I gather the words in some semblance of coherence (I know…why start now?), here is the view from the back porch of our cabin in Stanley, Idaho, along the Salmon River, looking out across at the Sawtooth mountains.
Priceless. (Well, at least until the Visa bill arrives.)
