In this week’s show, we get to hear Tony tell us how cold is it: at least in Harbin, China.
Wait, isn’t he sitting on the ice while staring at a little hole, watching for something fishy.
Here is the show info and a bunch of links to slideshows, the crew blog, and other tidbits while you wait for the actual show to begin.
Mind the time change so you don’t miss the show. The Travel Channel advertises the show on Monday at 10E/P, which translates into,
“We have no damn idea what time the show is on your TV.”
I cannot speak to cable, but the programming we get off the satellite signal is almost always not what is advertised.
I must tell you, I am not all that impressed in Tony’s consternation with supposedly cold weather.
We lived in Susanville (northeast California) for over twenty years and, on occasion we would have a week where the high would not get above zero degrees Fahrenheit, and the lows would be around minus twenty.
While somewhat a cliché, it was bearable as it was a dry cold.
Yes, places in California really do get that cold.
In addition to the short YouTube video clip below, here is an additional video that is a bit longer.
